Water Heater Repair.
Pilot, thermocouple, element and valve work before you replace. Across Krugerville and 75 towns in North Texas, done by the licensed master plumber who quoted it.
What water heater repair actually involves
Most water heaters that stop working do not need replacing. A gas unit that will not hold a pilot is usually a thermocouple or a gas valve. An electric one with lukewarm water is usually an element or a thermostat. Those are parts, not units, and the difference in price is large enough that it is worth someone honest looking first.
Most of the water heaters we see in North Texas are gas tank units in a garage or a hall closet, and most of them fail the same few ways. A thermocouple or a gas valve goes and the pilot will not hold. An element burns out on an electric unit. The tank itself rusts through at the bottom, which is the one that ends the conversation, because a rusted tank is not a repair.
Whatever the answer turns out to be on your property, you will hear it from the licensed master plumber who is going to do the work, before the work starts. That is the difference between A+ and a company that sends a salesperson first.
A+ Plumbing covers water heater repair from Krugerville out through Denton, Collin, Grayson, Cooke, Dallas, Tarrant, Wise and Rockwall counties, which is roughly a forty mile radius and seventy-five towns. Whether the property is a house in Aubrey, a restaurant in Frisco or an apartment complex in Denton, the same licensed plumber quotes it and the same one does it.
If you are not sure whether what you are seeing needs water heater repair at all, that is worth a call on its own. Norman would rather tell you on the phone that you do not need him yet than sell you a visit you did not have to pay for.
Knowing what is behind a wall before opening it is most of the job. The rest is not opening more of it than the job requires.
You are welcome to call and describe it without committing to anything. That is how most of these jobs start.

06Why the ground here matters
Clay soil movement
North Texas expansive clay swells and shrinks through the season. It moves foundations, and it moves the pipe running under and beside them. A line that was fine in spring can be pulled at a joint by August.
Mixed housing stock
Sherman, Denton and the older Dallas suburbs carry galvanized supply and cast iron drains. Celina, Prosper and Providence Village are new slab construction with PEX. Same county, completely different job.

Then it gets done
The licensed plumber who quoted it is the one doing it. Permits pulled where the city requires them.

You have our number
If something is not right, you call the same man who did the work.

Water Heater Repair questions
Who actually does the work?
Norman Alambar, the licensed Texas master plumber behind A+, license M-44741. On larger jobs he brings a second pair of hands. You are not handed to a rotating technician who has never seen your property.
How fast can you get out?
Often same day, and emergency work runs nights and weekends. One customer called at five thirty on a Saturday and we were on site inside the hour.
Do you do water heater repair for commercial properties too?
Yes. Houses, shops, offices, restaurants, apartment complexes and manufactured homes, on the same terms.
Will you clean up afterwards?
Yes. The job is finished when the space is back the way you had it, not when the pipe is fixed.
Are you licensed and can I check?
Texas Master Plumber license M-44741, held by Norman Alambar. You can look it up with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and we would rather you did.
What areas do you cover?
Krugerville and about forty miles out: Denton, Collin, Grayson, Cooke, Dallas, Tarrant, Wise and Rockwall counties, seventy-five towns in total. If you are near the edge of that, call and ask.
