The reason this company exists
Norman Alambar spent years working for large plumbing companies in North Texas. He kept watching people he knew get sold work they did not need: a replacement where a repair would do, a package where a part would do. In March 2023 he stopped and started A+ Plumbing on the opposite principle.
That principle is boring and it is the business. Find out what is actually wrong, say what it costs, do that work and nothing else, then clean up after yourself. A+ works houses, shops, restaurants, apartment complexes and manufactured homes across eight counties. Emergency work runs nights and weekends, because a line that lets go at five thirty on a Saturday does not wait until Monday.

Norman worked for the big outfits. He watched people he knew get sold work they did not need, and decided he could not keep doing it. In March 2023 he started A+ on one rule: do the job that is required, charge a fair price for it, and nothing else.
What the job that is required means
If a water heater needs a thermocouple, it needs a thermocouple, not replacing. Plenty of customers have had a plumber out who told them otherwise, which is usually why they call A+ the second time.

Are you licensed?
Yes. Norman Alambar holds Texas Master Plumber license M-44741. You can look that number up with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and we would rather you did.
How fast can you get out in an emergency?
Depends where you are in the service area, but fast. One customer crushed a galvanized line at 5:30 on a Saturday evening and we were there inside the hour and finished inside the next one. Call and you will get a straight answer about timing, not a window.
Do you work on both tank and tankless water heaters?
Both, and on repair as well as replacement. If the unit can be fixed for a reasonable number we will tell you that instead of selling you a new one.
What does a slab leak repair actually involve?
First we find it, which is its own job. Then we either tunnel under the slab and repair the line from below or open the floor, depending on where the leak sits and which one costs you less. Tunneling keeps your flooring intact. On one job the excavation ran eighteen feet and after backfill the yard looked the way it had before we started.
Do you do commercial and apartment work?
Yes. Shops, offices, restaurants, apartment complexes and manufactured homes, on the same terms as a house call.
Will you clean up afterwards?
Yes, and it is worth saying plainly. The job is not done when the pipe is fixed, it is done when the space is back the way you had it.
