Sewer Line Replacement.

Full line replacement when the pipe is past repair. Across Krugerville and 75 towns in North Texas, done by the licensed master plumber who quoted it.

What sewer line replacement actually involves

When a line is past repair, replacement is the honest answer and we will say so. Cast iron that has scaled and channeled along its whole length, or clay that has cracked in several places, is not worth patching section by section. We replace in PVC and restore the ground properly afterwards.

Cast iron in the older housing stock around Denton, Sherman and Dallas has a lifespan, and plenty of it is at the end of it. PVC replacement is a real job and we will say so plainly rather than sell you a patch.

Whatever the answer turns out to be on your property, you will hear it from the licensed master plumber who is going to do the work, before the work starts. That is the difference between A+ and a company that sends a salesperson first.

A+ Plumbing covers sewer line replacement from Krugerville out through Denton, Collin, Grayson, Cooke, Dallas, Tarrant, Wise and Rockwall counties, which is roughly a forty mile radius and seventy-five towns. Whether the property is a house in Aubrey, a restaurant in Frisco or an apartment complex in Denton, the same licensed plumber quotes it and the same one does it.

If you are not sure whether what you are seeing needs sewer line replacement at all, that is worth a call on its own. Norman would rather tell you on the phone that you do not need him yet than sell you a visit you did not have to pay for.

The cost of a plumbing job is mostly access, not parts. Getting to the failure is the expensive half, which is why locating it accurately is where the money is actually saved.

Photographs help enormously on the first call. Send what you can see and the diagnosis starts sooner.

What we check

Bellies holding standing water
Cast iron scaling and channelling in older stock
Whether the break sits under the slab or out in the yard
Cleanout access, and adding one where there is none
A camera run down the line before anything is quoted
Root intrusion at joints, common in older clay

Worth a phone call when

Slow drains throughout the house rather than at one fixture
More than one fixture backing up at the same time
Gurgling from a toilet when a sink drains
Sewage smell in the yard or around a cleanout
A patch of lawn that is greener or wetter than the rest

Why the ground here matters

Clay soil movement

North Texas expansive clay swells and shrinks through the season. It moves foundations, and it moves the pipe running under and beside them. A line that was fine in spring can be pulled at a joint by August.

Hard water

Most of the service area runs hard water, which scales tank heaters, shortens element life and clogs tankless heat exchangers faster than the manufacturer’s schedule assumes. It changes maintenance intervals and it changes which failure we look for first.

How a job actually runs

01

You call

You reach Norman on (940) 231-5706. Describe what is happening and you get a straight answer about whether it is urgent.

02

We look at it

Diagnosis first. On a leak that means locating it properly before anybody opens a wall, a floor or the yard.

03

You get the number

What the work costs and what it does not include, before it starts. No surprises added at the end.

04

Then it gets done

The licensed plumber who quoted it is the one doing it. Permits pulled where the city requires them.

05

We clean up

Tools out, mess gone, yard put back. Tools out, mess gone, yard back the way it was.

06

You have our number

If something is not right, you call the same man who did the work.

Sewer Line Replacement questions

How much does sewer line replacement cost?

It depends on what we find, and anybody who gives you a firm number before looking is guessing. What you will get from A+ is the number before the work starts, not after. Call (940) 231-5706 and describe what is happening and you will get a straight answer about the likely range.

Who actually does the work?

Norman Alambar, the licensed Texas master plumber behind A+, license M-44741. On larger jobs he brings a second pair of hands. You are not handed to a rotating technician who has never seen your property.

How fast can you get out?

Often same day, and emergency work runs nights and weekends. One customer called at five thirty on a Saturday and we were on site inside the hour.

Do you do sewer line replacement for commercial properties too?

Yes. Houses, shops, offices, restaurants, apartment complexes and manufactured homes, on the same terms.

Will you clean up afterwards?

Yes. The job is finished when the space is back the way you had it, not when the pipe is fixed.

Are you licensed and can I check?

Texas Master Plumber license M-44741, held by Norman Alambar. You can look it up with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and we would rather you did.

What people say afterwards

Norman did an amazing job installing my new tub and surround! His quality of work is superb. He even took great care to clean up and left me with a great working bathroom.

I cannot recommend A+ Plumbing enough. This is a family business, not a corporation. Instead of talking to various dispatchers, you speak to the owner who is very responsive. The price for a hot water leak in my slab was very competitive and the job was done quickly and professionally.

MMichele Helfrich · Google

He took his time and found the source of our leak and made recommendations of what our next steps needed to be. He is a very good plumber and even cleans up his messes when he is done.
