Pipe Repair.

Open it, fix the section that failed, close it back up. Across Krugerville and 75 towns in North Texas, done by the licensed master plumber who quoted it.

What pipe repair actually involves

A single failure in a good pipe is a repair. A copper pinhole, a split from a freeze, a fitting that let go. We open the smallest space that gets us to it, repair the section, pressure it and close up. What we will also do is tell you whether that failure looks like the first of many.

North Texas houses carry three generations of supply pipe. Galvanized in the oldest stock, which rusts closed from the inside until pressure drops. Polybutylene through the late seventies and eighties, which fails at the fittings without warning. Copper and PEX after that.

Whatever the answer turns out to be on your property, you will hear it from the licensed master plumber who is going to do the work, before the work starts. That is the difference between A+ and a company that sends a salesperson first.

A+ Plumbing covers pipe repair from Krugerville out through Denton, Collin, Grayson, Cooke, Dallas, Tarrant, Wise and Rockwall counties, which is roughly a forty mile radius and seventy-five towns. Whether the property is a house in Aubrey, a restaurant in Frisco or an apartment complex in Denton, the same licensed plumber quotes it and the same one does it.

If you are not sure whether what you are seeing needs pipe repair at all, that is worth a call on its own. Norman would rather tell you on the phone that you do not need him yet than sell you a visit you did not have to pay for.

Drainage problems are usually older than the day they announce themselves. A line that backs up in November has generally been narrowing for years, which is why a camera run matters more than a fast clear.

The point of listing all this is that you can recognize your own situation before you ring, which makes the conversation faster.

What we check

Pinhole patterns in copper, which suggest water chemistry
Whether the run is accessible or buried in slab
Freeze exposure in attics, garages and exterior walls
What the supply pipe actually is: galvanized, polybutylene, copper or PEX
Pressure at a hose bibb, which tells you whether galvanized is closing up

Worth a phone call when

A water bill that stepped up without a change in use
Visible corrosion or weeping at a joint
Rust-colored water on the first draw
Any fitting failure on polybutylene, which rarely happens only once
A drop in pressure at one fixture or across the whole house

Why the ground here matters

Clay soil movement

North Texas expansive clay swells and shrinks through the season. It moves foundations, and it moves the pipe running under and beside them. A line that was fine in spring can be pulled at a joint by August.

Mixed housing stock

Sherman, Denton and the older Dallas suburbs carry galvanized supply and cast iron drains. Celina, Prosper and Providence Village are new slab construction with PEX. Same county, completely different job.

How a job actually runs

01

You call

You reach Norman on (940) 231-5706. Describe what is happening and you get a straight answer about whether it is urgent.

02

We look at it

Diagnosis first. On a leak that means locating it properly before anybody opens a wall, a floor or the yard.

03

You get the number

What the work costs and what it does not include, before it starts. No surprises added at the end.

04

Then it gets done

The licensed plumber who quoted it is the one doing it. Permits pulled where the city requires them.

05

We clean up

Tools out, mess gone, yard put back. Tools out, mess gone, yard back the way it was.

If something is not right, you call the same man who did the work.

Pipe Repair questions

Who actually does the work?

Norman Alambar, the licensed Texas master plumber behind A+, license M-44741. On larger jobs he brings a second pair of hands. You are not handed to a rotating technician who has never seen your property.

How fast can you get out?

Often same day, and emergency work runs nights and weekends. One customer called at five thirty on a Saturday and we were on site inside the hour.

Do you do pipe repair for commercial properties too?

Yes. Houses, shops, offices, restaurants, apartment complexes and manufactured homes, on the same terms.

Will you clean up afterwards?

Yes. The job is finished when the space is back the way you had it, not when the pipe is fixed.

Are you licensed and can I check?

Texas Master Plumber license M-44741, held by Norman Alambar. You can look it up with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and we would rather you did.

What areas do you cover?

Krugerville and about forty miles out: Denton, Collin, Grayson, Cooke, Dallas, Tarrant, Wise and Rockwall counties, seventy-five towns in total. If you are near the edge of that, call and ask.
